179th Greene County Fair celebrates its final night

XENIA — Saturday is the final night to enjoy all the activities, rides, food and entertainment at the 179th Greene County Fair in Xenia. The weeklong fair, located at 120 Fairground Road, has featured a concert, an art exhibit, truck drag races and more.

The fair ends at 10 p.m. Saturday, so there is still time to eat cotton candy and enjoy the weather and people.

“Weather was good, combined with the LANCO Country Concert and general interest in a wholesome, family entertainment venue made it a great week,” said Dan Bullen, a Greene County Agricultural Society Director.

Gate admission is $6. Children nine and under are free with a paying adult, according to a Greene County Fair release.

Fair attendance has risen past 2017 and Bullen said “We (Greene County fair goers) couldn't be happier.”
