DAYTON — Law enforcement officers, family survivors, and the public will join together today to honor the 40 Montgomery County law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty over the past 131 years.
The 14th annual ceremony will start at 11:00 a.m. at Riverscape Park, according to a press release.
Dr. Kathy Platoni, Psy. D., DAIPM, FAIS will be a keynote speaker at the event.

Denise Dulle, the mother of Sargent Brian S. Dulle, will be speaking at the ceremony.
Sgt. Dulle was hit by a suspect vehicle while he was deploying stop sticks on Stater Route 42 back in 2011.
He served with the Warren County Sheriff’s Office for twelve years. Sgt. Dulle was also a veteran of the US Army.
