XENIA TOWNSHIP — UPDATE: 10 a.m.
The Xenia Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle fatal crash that happened in Xenia Township Friday afternoon.
Crews were called to respond to the crash at the intersection of Cooper Lane and Jasper Road around 3:20 p.m.
According to OSP, The driver of a vehicle, Glenn L. Sproat, age 79, of Xenia, was turning left onto Jasper Road from Cooper Lane and was struck by a pickup truck driven by Jonjuan Davenport, age 35, of Jamestown.
An occupant in Sproat’s vehicle, Joanne Sproat, age 74, of Xenia, was transported to Miami Valley Hospital where she died from her injuries, OSP said.
Both Jasper Road and Cooper Lane were closed from 3:18 p.m. until 5:05 p.m.
The crash is still under investigation at this time.

One person is dead and at least one other person in the hospital after a crash in Xenia Township Friday afternoon.
Crews were called to a two-car crash on Cooper Lane and Jasper Road around 3:20 p.m.
The Xenia post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol told us that one person was taken to the hospital and later died.

OSHP also said at least one other person was also taken to an area hospital.
Their condition is unknown.
We are working to learn the identity of the person that died and what led up to the crash.
