Lebanon names new superintendent

Todd Yohey has been selected as the new superintendent of the Lebanon City Schools.

The board made the announcement this morning at a special board meeting.

Yohey will replace Mark North, who was hired by Fairborn. North was the superintendent in Lebanon for more than 10 years. He is to take the Fairborn job, effective Aug. 1.

Lebanon hired a firm to conduct a search and held a public meeting to gather input from residents on North’s successor.

Yohey is superintendent of the Oak Hills Local Schools in Hamilton County.

Robert Humble, superintendent of the Fairbanks Local Schools in Union County, was the other finalist.
