KETTERING — Community members came out to the Kettering Block Party, hosted by the Kettering Police Department, Thursday evening.
The block party was held at Lincoln Park and Fraze Pavilion from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

KPD had officers from their specialty units at the block party such as K9, SWAT and bike patrol. Some in attendance got the chance to pet one of the K9′s that was at the event.
There was exhibits, displays from other city departments, booths, and a raffle.

KPD provided a free hot dog and chips at the event, according to the release.
