Kettering Health expanding access to care for senior citizens

HARRISON TWP. — Kettering Health is opening a new Years Ahead Health Center for those 65-years-old and up, according to a news release.

The building is expected to open early next year. This will give the senior community members more access to healthcare services.

The facility was designed for patient centered care and educational programs tailored for those age 65 and older. Services will also include primary care, wellness and support programs, as well as labs and imaging, said the release.

The new location will be located will be in the 3900 block of Salem Avenue. They will have a care team of medical providers, including physicians and advanced practice providers, according to the release.

“We are excited to offer senior-focused care to residents in our community,” said George Lewis, president of the Kettering Physicians Network. “By expanding our services to this area, we’re able to meet the need for healthcare and support programs for seniors where they live.”
