Good Friday justice and peace walk at noon today

The annual Walk for Justice and Peace will take place from noon to around 2 p.m. today beginning at the Old Courthouse at Third and Main streets.

The walk held every year on Good Friday will move from the Old Courthouse through the east side of downtown Dayton and ends at the river by the First Baptist Church, 111 W. Monument Street.

Each year, 14 issues are chosen to correspond with the 14 Stations of the Cross.

They reflect on new and ongoing social justice issues. New this year is the social justice issues of welcoming all refugees, and income inequality.

The walk is held rain or shine.
