Egg Hunt Forecast: Shaping up to be a sunny Easter weekend

It’s that time of year where we are celebrating the spring holidays and while we look forward to the joy and celebration that they can bring, we don’t always look forward to what Mother Nature will bring to the party.

On Thursday, we were seeing flurries and snow showers across the Miami Valley that accumulated in some communities to a dusting. In Northeast Ohio, they saw several inches of snow and it was a cruel April Fool’s joke on Mother Nature’s part.

However, if you have plans for this Easter weekend, beautiful weather will be dialed up.

Any Easter Egg hunts of festivities on Saturday morning will be met with cold, frosty temps in the 20s. Temperatures will warm up nicely to seasonably mild levels for the afternoon, in the mid to upper 50s and dry with plenty of sunshine.

Sunrise services on Easter Morning will not be as cold.

You will still want a light jacket with temperatures starting out in the lower 40s but rising quickly through the morning. Temperatures in the afternoon will warm into the mid 60s with plenty of sunshine staying in the forecast.”
