Police investigate armed robbery at Dayton Dollar General location

DAYTON — Dayton police are investigating reports of an armed robbery at a Dollar General location, which is at least the second robbery in less than seven days at the store, according to initial reports.

Officers were dispatched to the store at 445 Salem Avenue just before 10 a.m. after the robbery was reported.

Reports indicate a man entered the store wearing glasses, dark colored coat, and a mask made off with cash from the store.

Last Wednesday morning police were called to the same store to investigate an armed robbery. It was not known if the robberies are believed to be related.

No injuries were initially reported.
