HUBER HEIGHTS — All lanes of traffic on I-70 Eastbound are back open after being closed for much of Wednesday in Huber Heights between Old Troy Pike and Brandt Pike.

According to Sergeant Josh Fosnight with the Huber Heights Police Department, crews were called to respond to a two-vehicle crash involving a box truck just before 7 a.m.
The box truck involved spilled chemicals onto the roadway as a result of the crash, Fosnight said.
Hazmat crews were requested and arrived on the scene shortly before 8 a.m., according to a police spokesperson.
Fosnight says multiple crews were called to the scene to help clean up the spill, including EPA.
Huber Heights Police tell News Center 7′s Dontre Drexelius that at least one person taken to the hospital for injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
