“Impaired driving fatalities are preventable. We expect a lot more people celebrating the big game with the Cincinnati Bengals playing, but we want them to do it responsibly,” Miami Twp. Det. Sgt. Jay Phares, said in a media release. “Driving while impaired by any substance, alcohol or other drugs, is deadly and illegal.”

Clark County deputies plan similar enforcement and will enforce a zero tolerance policy for impaired driving, speeding violations, and seat belt use, a department spokesperson said.
“Sheriff Burchett wishes all the motoring public to enjoy the celebration of the Super Bowl, but reminds all motorists not to operate a motor vehicle while under the influence and to always wear your seat belt while operating or as a passenger in a motor vehicle,” the sheriff’s office spokesperson said.
