DAYTON — A person reported they were stabbed multiple times after two others forced their way inside a Dayton apartment building Friday morning, according to police and initial reports.

Officers and medics were called to the apartment building in the 1700 block of West Grand Avenue around 10 a.m. after the stabbing and robbery was reported.
Initial reports indicate the victim answered a knock at his door and when the door opened, two men forced their way inside. The victim reported being stabbed multiple times in their arm, leg, and head, police scanner traffic indicated.
The victim was taken to Miami Valley Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, according to officers on the scene.
It was not known if any arrests were made or if police had any potential suspects or persons of interest.
