A juvenile also was shot, but his injuries were not fatal.
Witnesses were able to give a description of the two suspects.

UPDATE@6:38 p.m. Aug. 3: A 24-year-old Dayton man will be extradited from Missouri to Dayton on a murder charge for allegedly opening fire on an apartment complex Sunday, killing one teen and injuring another.
Avelardo Rosales was arrested by U.S. Marshals in St. Louis County on Monday afternoon. He was identified by witnesses at the scene as the shooter outside an apartment complex in the 1300 block of Huffman Avenue. A man was reportedly seen driving by the apartment buildings, firing a weapon, shortly after 10:30 p.m. Sunday. Police believe the intended target was 19-year-old Draughn Dallas, who was shot multiple times. The first officers to arrive on scene performed CPR on Dallas, but he died at Miami Valley Hospital early Monday morning.
Also hit in the gunfire was a 14-year-old boy who was inside his apartment at the time. A bullet grazed his arm. He was not seriously injured, police said.
It’s believed Dallas may have been in a dispute over money with Rosales prior to the shooting, said Lt. Wendy Stiver.
Alecia Eisen, who lives in the complex with her husband and 3-year-old son, said she never expected to hear gunfire as they prepared for bed. She said it’s disturbing that they live only a few houses down from where gunfire erupted.
“My husband runs over there and we hear all kinds of screaming and there’s a kid laying on the ground,” she said. “You just opened fire on Huffman Avenue where there are children and older people and I just want to say please think before you go get guns.”
It could take several weeks for Rosales to be extradited back to Dayton. Detectives will discuss additional charges with the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office in the meantime, Stiver said.
