Wright State University men's basketball player Tavares Sledge was reinstated to the team Thursday, following a suspension from the school and serving time in jail after pleading guilty to several charges in November.
Sledge has rejoined the team, WSU Head Coach Billy Donlon confirmed Thursday.
A message seeking comment for Bob Noss, public relations for WSU's sports, was not returned Thursday night.
Sledge was arrested Sept. 28 on a misdemeanor domestic violence charge.
Court records showed the WSU forward also was charged by Fairborn Police with misdemeanor child endangering, obstructing official business and resisting arrest.
The Mobile, Ala. native was sentenced to 19 days in jail after he pled guilty to resisting arrest, obstructing official business and child endangering Nov. 19.
Sledge, a 6-foot-9 junior, played in 34 games last season, averaging 4.1 points and 4.1 rebounds per game and was the Raiders' second-leading rebounder last season.
