A Submarine House delivery driver reported he was robbed at gunpoint on Prescott Drive Sunday night about 8:30 p.m.
The driver told police he went to the address and determined it was a vacant residence. He said he called the store and asked them to verify the address. A Submarine House employee called the driver back and reportedly told him it was the house to the right of the given address.
As he approached the residence, the driver says he was approached by a subject whom he recognized as a regular customer of the Submarine House on Salem Ave.
The suspect told the driver to turn around and put a gun to his head. He told the driver, “If you move, imma shoot you”, stole the driver’s cash and flashlight. He left the scene in a dark silver Dodge Avenger parked across the street.
In the police report, the suspect was described to police as a black male with “bug eyes”, about 5’6”, 180 lbs., wearing a dark blue or black jacket.
The driver flagged down police and identified the man through Facebook photos. Police are looking for him.
