A man and woman were hurt after getting jumped and hit with beer bottles in the parking lot outside Pat's Bar, 2725 Linden Ave.
Up to eight people reportedly fled the scene before police arrived early Sunday morning, according to the Dayton police report.
A 36-year-old man was taken to the hospital with bruises and a cut on his face while his friend, a 30-year-old woman, refused treatment for a cut on her head, according to the report.
Witnesses told police a group of people who were causing trouble inside the bar attacked the woman in the parking lot, hitting her in the head with a beer bottle.
When her friend saw what was happening he intervened and was attacked by several others, according to the report.
Witnesses told police the attackers left in two vehicles, a green Pontiac Grand Am and a white car, unknown make or model.
