DAYTON — A 46-year-old man was found unresponsive and locked in a bathroom stall inside McDonald’s on Edwin C. Moses Boulevard on Tuesday was dead, according to a city police incident report.
The dead man has been identified as Scott A. Reynolds, according to the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office.
An autopsy will be performed on Reynolds on Wednesday.

Dayton police officers were dispatched to McDonalds in the 2100 block of Edwin C. Moses Boulevard on around 7:12 p.m. for a report of a man passed out in the bathroom.
Employees were alerted to the body after a customer said someone passed out in the bathroom stall with the door locked. Employees unlocked the stall and confirmed Reynolds was unresponsive.

After emergency crews arrived, Reynolds was pronounced dead on the scene.
A man and woman on the scene identified the body, and told police they were friends of Reynolds.
“They stated Reynolds was a known heroin user and they had not seen him since 1100 hours,” wrote Dayton Police Officer Alexander Dole.
The man and woman told police they saw Reynolds at the Interstate 75 underpass talking to two men and a woman known to use heroin.

“No heroin or needles were located at the scene,” Dole wrote.
