A 92-year-old man with Alzheimer’s attempted to rob the Beavercreek PNC Bank, but police said the suspect has been released to family members.
Officers said the man entered the bank near the Fairfield Commons Mall around 9:45 a.m. and said he had a knife and planned to blow up the bank.
Police determined that the man suffers from Alzheimer’s and do not plan to pursue any charges.
