Huber Heights businesses cited for underage alcohol sales

Some Huber Heights businesses and people were recently cited for selling alcohol to a minor.

The alcohol-compliance checks were made April 11 by state investigators and Huber Heights police, the Ohio Highway Patrol announced Monday.

Out of 23 businesses checked, six sold alcohol to a minor, according to the release.

In addition, six people have been charged with selling and/or furnishing beer to a person under 21, according to the release.

After court proceedings the state will present administrative violations to the Ohio Liquor Control Commission, which has the authority to issue penalties.
