Feds, police raid Instant Tax Service in Troy

A six-week investigation into fraud complaints at the Instant Tax Service in Troy led to federal authorities assisting local police in raiding the business on Wednesday, according to Troy police.

The Internal Revenue Service and the Secret Service are assisting police in the investigation into business at 2301 W. Main St.

Troy Capt. Chris Anderson said a search warrant was executed and about 15 computers were removed from the business, which is closed for the season.
