DAYTON — A 21-year-old Dayton man will spend the next 21 years to life in prison for the shooting death of a 19-year-old Huber Heights man.

Levi Dalton Lambert was sentenced Monday for the Aug. 5, 2018, shooting death of Evan Lewis.
He convicted Nov 8 following a trial on all charges: two counts of murder and felonious assault; and single counts of improperly discharging a firearm at or into a habitation and tampering with evidence.
Lewis was found critically injured, lying on the corner of Bellefontaine Road and Hilgeford Drive. He later died of his injuries.

Investigators said that witnesses described Lambert and the direction he fled. Officers were able to find and arrest him within minutes, in a field behind homes on Powell Road.
Lambert will not be eligible for parole until he has served at least 21 years.
