A 26-year-old Dayton man was indicted today for allegedly seriously injuring a 2-month-old child last month.
Brandon Farrar was indicted by a Montgomery County grand jury on three felony charges of child endangering, domestic violence and felonious assault stemming from the Aug. 24 assault of 2-month-old child.
According to the prosecutor's office, Farrar was at home with the infant when he became upset and hit the child. The infant was seriously injured, prosecutors said, but the child's current condition is not known.
Farrar will be arraigned Sept. 9.
He is being held in lieu of $50,000 bond in the Montgomery County Jail, where he has been held since his Aug. 25 arrest, online jail records show.
