Man hospitalized after stabbing in Dayton

DAYTON — UPDATE @ 7:45 a.m.:

A man was taken to an area hospital for treatment after he was stabbed multiple times on Hoover Avenue Monday morning, according to Dayton police.

The victim’s injuries are described as non-life threatening, investigators said.

The victim told police he was in the area to meet up with someone when he was stabbed by another person, officers said.

No arrests have been made and additional details were not available.

We are responding to a report of a stabbing in the 5400 block of Hoover Avenue in Dayton.

The victim suffered multiple stab wounds, according to scanner traffic.

Paramedics and police were called to the scene just after 6 a.m.
