GREENVILLE, Ohio — Main Street Greenville announced Tuesday afternoon that the 2020 Holiday Horse Parade has been cancelled due to rising COVID-19 numbers.
The horse parade was scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020 in downtown Greenville.

“We were hoping that cases in the county were going to hold steady or even decrease,” said Ryan Berry, executive director of Main Street Greenville (MSG), “but with COVID cases continuing to rise this past weekend and into the early part of the week, there was no way around canceling the event.”
Berry said be sure to check out the light display in Downtown Greenville this year. He said the city’s street department has been working on it since October.
This is the second year in a row that the horse parade has been cancelled. In 2019, the weather prevented the parade from happening.
