Dayton man killed after being hit on I-75

Dayton — A 22-year-old Dayton man was killed as he attempted to walk across the highway Thursday morning.

Jae’Lin Williams was killed on I-75 near the Benchwood Road exit in Butler Twp.

Troopers responded to the highway around 1:15 a.m. after the crash was reported.

Williams was hit by two vehicles in the crash, the state highway patrol said.

The crash is still under investigation and it’s not known if alcohol or drugs played a factor in the crash.

Troopers closed the highway while the crash was investigated.

No injuries were reported to the people who were in the two vehicles involved in the crash.
