DAYTON — The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office has released the identity of a man who was shot and killed in a shooting at Catalpa Drive.
Deonte Ballinger, 25, of Dayton, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Law enforcement and medic units responded to a report of a shooting on Catalpa Drive around 10:09 p.m. Saturday, according to dispatch records.
Two people had reportedly been shot, and one person was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
