1 in custody after Darke County traffic stop

DARKE COUNTY — Darke County deputies seized 20 grams of methamphetamine and arrested a man after a traffic stop in Greenville.

On Feb. 19 Darke County deputies were on patrol when they saw a car in the 7600 block of Greenville Celina road and observed suspicious activity, according to a release by Darke County Sheriff’s Office.

A stop was made on the vehicle and during the investigation a Darke County K-9 alerted on the car.

Deputies found about 20 grams of meth along with other drug paraphernalia, according to the release.

The driver, Jason Landers, 47, of Lynn, Ind. was arrested and taken to Darke County Jail where he is being held on Possession of Drugs.

Greenville Police Department also responded to the scene.

The incident remains under investigation by Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
