UPDATE: Power restored after outage knocks out service to over 2,000 in Beavercreek

BEAVERCREEK — UPDATE @ 9:01 p.m.:

Power has been restored for most residents of Beavercreek following a large outage Sunday evening according to the DP&L outage map.

The outage initially knocked out power to over 2,100 people.

INITIAL REPORT

A large power outage has knocked out electric service to over 2,000 Dayton Power and Light customers in the Beavercreek area Sunday evening, according to DP&L’s online outage map.

The outage is centered north of U.S 35 to 2,317 people, according to the outage map and callers into this newsroom.

The source of the outage was not immediately known.
