DAYTON — Three adults and a child have been taken to hospitals from a multiple-vehicle accident Dayton police are investigating as a possible hit-and-run.
The conditions of the victims are not known, but were serious enough to prompt a police traffic reconstruction team to be dispatched.
Police and as many as three medic units were dispatched to North Gettysburg and Wentworth avenues just before 6:30 p.m. on the report of a vehicle accident with possible entrapment.
One of the vehicles ended up on its side and the front end of another was severely damaged, according to photographs sent to this newsroom.
