More than 600 outages remain after severe storms move through the region Sunday

MIAMI VALLEY — Power outages have been reported in parts of the region Sunday evening after multiple severe storms, including some that had tornado warnings, moved through the region.

There are over 600 combined AES Ohio and Duke Energy outages due to Sunday night’s storms.

At least 500 AES Ohio customers are without power as of 9:37 a.m., according to AES Ohio’s outage map.

AES Ohio:

  • Montgomery County: 364
  • Miami County: 92
  • Greene County: 54

AES Ohio said on social media Sunday night, “Crews are responding as quickly and safely as possible.”

Duke Energy is reporting more than 100 customers without power in Butler and Warren Counties as of 7:07 a.m., according to Duke’s Energy outage summary.

126 outages in Butler County and 13 in Warren County.
