High Wind Warning, Advisory expire; high winds to continue overnight

Both the High Wind Warning and Wind Advisory that were in effect for the entire region have expired as of 12:55 a.m. Monday.

Tonight: Winds in the early evening hours will remain high with sustained winds of 20 to 30 mph and gusts up to 45 mph. Overnight the winds will gradually relax. However, winds by tomorrow morning will remain as high as 15 to 25 mph and wind gusts up to 35 mph. Colder air pushes in overnight, dropping low temperatures into the upper teens.

Monday: Morning wind chills will start in the single digits. Mostly sunny and breezy with a high temperatures of 34. Winds gradually decrease throughout the day.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy skies, calm and quiet with high temperatures in the upper 30s.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with the chance of a few passing showers or possibly a wintry mix. Highs for the day in the lower to mid 40s.

Thursday: Chance for rain and snow showers possible. Temperatures approach 40 degrees.

Friday: Cloudy with a chance for rain showers. Temperatures lifting into the mid 40s.
