High water blocks portion of Tipp Elizabeth Road in Tipp City

TIPP CITY — High water from the Great Miami River has blocked a section of a Tipp City Road Monday morning.

Tipp Elizabeth Road is closed at the crossing of the the river, near the Tippecanoe aquatic center, following Sunday’s rain that moved through the area.

News Center 7′s Gabrielle Enright reports fields that surround the road are completely underwater.

It was not known if city officials had an estimate when water levels might recede enough to reopen the road.
