Ohio high school football regional finals include several local schools

COLUMBUS — The high school football regional final playoff pairings have been announced by the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) Sunday along with the neutral sites.

The higher seeded team will be designated as the home team and will be played Friday and Saturday nights at 7 p.m.

Several local area schools will be in action and neutral sites include high schools here in the Miami Valley.

The matchups below will take place Friday night:

Division I Region 2

• No. 2 Springfield (11-1) vs. No. 8 Olentangy Liberty (8-5), 7 pm at London Bowlus Field (London)

Division III Region 12

• No. 1 Badin (13-0) vs. No. 3 Tippecanoe (11-1), 7 pm at Trotwood-Madison Miami Valley Hospital SportsPlex (Trotwood)

Division V Region 20

• No. 1 Valley View (12-1) vs. No. 2 Milton-Union (12-0), 7 pm at Piqua Alexander Stadium (Piqua)

These games will be Saturday night:

Division VI Region 24

• No. 1 Marion Local (13-0) vs. No. 2 Allen East (12-1), 7 pm at Mercy Health/Wapak Ford Field at Harmon Stadium (Wapakoneta)

Division VII Region 28

• No. 2 Fort Loramie (11-2) vs. No. 5 New Bremen (10-3) at Sidney High School, Sidney Memorial Stadium (Sidney)
