Ohio State football schedules set through 2023

COLUMBUS — Ohio State’s football schedules are complete for the next four seasons.

The school announced Thursday it has agreed to matchups with Arkansas State in 2022 and San Jose State and Western Kentucky in 2023.

The Buckeyes previously had agreed to play Notre Dame and Toledo (both at home) in 2022 with a game at Notre Dame filling out the nonconference schedule in 2023.

In 2020, Ohio State will play host to Bowling Green to open the season Sept. 5, travel to Oregon then host Buffalo.

In 2021, Ohio State opens the regular season with a Big Ten game at Minnesota then plays host to Oregon, Tulsa and Akron in successive weeks.

The Fighting Irish are the season-opening opponent in ’22 followed by the Red Wolves and Rockets, all at Ohio Stadium.

In ’23, Ohio State again opens the season with a Big Ten road game (Indiana) before facing San Jose State and Western Michigan then going to Notre Dame.

The Buckeyes kick off this season Aug. 31 with a visit from Florida Atlantic.
