CINCINNATI — A limited number of single game tickets for Cincinnati Reds games will go on sale starting March 15 but will be available through a phased release.

Two pre-sale opportunities begin on March 15 with season ticket holders available to purchase single game tickets first. On March 16, those with 2020 paid vouchers or account credit will have the ability to buy tickets, a Reds spokesperson said Wednesday.

Both pre-sale opportunities will be online only and tickets can be purchased through the team’s website.

The general public sale begins March 17 and will be online only as well. On March 18, the ticket windows at Great American Ball Park will open at 9 a.m.

The public ticket sale will exclude Opening Day, the spokesperson said.

All tickets this year will be issued digitally through the MLB Ballpark app, which will allow for contactless entry. This includes tickets purchased at the ballpark ticket window.

Great American Ball Park will be allowed to host up to 30 percent of their maximum outdoor capacity following an announcement from Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine last week. That would mean about 12,000 fans for every game.

The Reds said COVID-19 protocols will be in place including mandatory masks, socially distanced, pod-style seating, contactless and cashless forms of payment at concessions and merchandise stands, and a new bag policy that prohibits backpacks.
