The city of Xenia is planning a new 110,000-square-foot building to be used for multiple purposes, including community activities, recreation and education.
The facility, projected to cost $15 million, would likely begin construction in 2017. The building would be managed by the Greater Dayton YMCA and would include Kettering Health Network, Clarke State Community College and Central State University as partners.
Xenia City Manager Brent Merriman described the facility as having regional appeal.
