Students from Libya protested outside the federal building in downtown Dayton Thursday, hoping to raise awareness of their issues with educational funding.
The Wright State University students from Libya are protesting today cuts from the Libyan government for college scholarships, living stipends and health care coverage.
“It’s been a year without tuition, health insurance, monthly allowance; we are really suffering,” said Dr. Najib Tabal, a Libyan citizen studying graduate-level pharmacology at Wright State.
