Restaurants are offering deals and freebies to mark the day and honor those who have served their country. Below are a few of those deals.

Many restaurants require that active-duty military members be in uniform, and almost all require that anyone requesting the deal present military identification. Call your local restaurant to see what is required. Not every restaurant in a chain will honor the deals. Again, call ahead to check on your area location.

  • 54th Street Grill & Bar: Active duty military members and veterans can get a free entree up to $12 on Veterans Day.
  • 7-Eleven: Get a free coffee or Big Gulp on Veterans Day. Download the 7-Eleven app and sign in or register.
  • Ahipoke Bowl: Active-duty military members and veterans can get 50% off poke bowls.Applebee’s: Active-duty military members and veterans can get a free meal from a limited menu on Veterans Day. Proof of service is required.
  • Arooga’s: Active-duty military members and veterans with a valid ID can choose a free item from a special menu on Wednesday at participating locations.
  • Aspen Creek Grill: On Wednesday, veterans and active-duty military can select from a complimentary menu from 11 a.m. to close.
  • Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar: Active-duty military members and veterans can get a free BD’s All American Burger and side with valid military ID from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
  • Bagger Dave’s: Active, nonactive, reservists, retired personnel and first responders with proof of military identification get one Great American Cheeseburger and fries on Wednesday.
  • Bandana’s Bar-B-Q: Active-duty military members and veterans get a free Budget Buster Meal on Wednesday.
  • Bar Louie: Active-duty military members and veterans can get a free craft burger or flatbread on Wednesday.
  • Ben’s Soft Pretzels‏: Active-duty military members and veterans can get a free pretzel on Wednesday.
  • BIBIBOP Asian Grill: Active-duty military members and veterans can get a free bowl on Wednesday.
  • BJ’s Restaurant: On Veterans Day, all service members can enjoy a complimentary entree up to $14.95, plus a free Dr Pepper by presenting a military ID or proof of service.
  • Black Angus Steakhouse: On Wednesday, active-duty military members and veterans get an All-American Steak Plate for $10.99 plus all the fixings and a non-alcoholic beverage. Must show military ID.
  • Bob Evans: Active-duty military members and veterans get free select menu items on Wednesday.
  • Bubba Gump Shrimp: Military personnel and their families receive 20% off meals on Wednesday.
  • Buffalo Wild Wings: Veterans and active-duty military can get a free order of 10 boneless wings and a side of fries.
  • Calhoun’s: All veterans and active-duty military members can eat free on Wednesday, according to its website.
  • California Pizza Kitchen: Veterans and active-duty military personnel will be able to select a free entree from a special Veterans Day menu. CPK asks that members wear their uniform or bring military ID or other proof of service.
  • Cattlemens Steakhouse: Active duty military members and veterans get a complimentary 8-ounce sirloin steak dinner on Veterans Day.
  • CentraArchy Restaurants: On Wednesday, CentraArchy Restaurants are offering veterans and active-duty military service members an entree at 50% off. CentraArchy Restaurants are California Dreaming, New York Prime, Chophouse ’47, The Tavern at Phipps, Carolina Roadhouse, Joey D’s Oak Room, Gulfstream Cafe and Chophouse New Orleans.
  • Chicken Salad Chick: On Wednesday, Chicken Salad Chick is offering a free Chick Special and regular size drink to any veteran or active-duty military personnel who comes in on Wednesday.
  • Chili’s Grill & Bar: Active-duty military members and veterans can choose a complimentary meal from a select menu on Veterans Day.
  • Cicis Pizza: On Wednesday, get a free adult buffet with valid active duty or retired military ID.
  • Claim Jumper: On Monday, veterans who show valid can get a free entree from a special menu and a $5 bounce back card for a subsequent visit.
  • Colton’s Steak House: Veterans eat free on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. when ordering from its Veterans Day menu.
  • Connors Steak & Seafood: Connors Steak & Seafood locations in Alabama, Florida and Tennessee are offering active-duty military members and veterans 50% off any dine-in lunch or dinner entree with military ID.
  • Country Cookin: All active, reserve, retired and honorably discharged members of the U.S. military get a free salad bar or $5 off any entree on Wednesday.
  • Country Kitchen Restaurants: Active-duty military members and veterans get a free country scramble on Wednesday.
  • Cracker Barrel Old Country Store: Active-duty military members and veterans can receive a free slice of Double Fudge Coca-Cola Cake with their meal on Wednesday.
  • Denny’s: Active-duty military members and veterans will receive a free Build Your Own Grand Slam breakfast on Wednesday from 5 a.m. to noon. Diners must show ID to receive this offer.
  • Dickey’s Barbecue Pit: Active-duty military members and veterans get a free Pulled Pork Classic Sandwich on Wednesday. You must present a military ID or valid proof of service.
  • Dunkin' Donuts: Active-duty military members and veterans can get a free donut Wednesday at Dunkin' Donuts restaurants nationwide, no purchase necessary.
  • Eat’n Park: Veterans will receive a 10% discount for the entire month of November.
  • Einstein Bros. Bagels: Active-duty military members and veterans get a free hot or iced medium coffee.
  • Famous Dave’s: Active-duty military members and veterans will receive a free two-meat combo. Dine-in or to-go orders.
  • Farmer Boys: Active-duty military members and veterans with valid proof of service get a free Big Cheese cheeseburger.
  • Golden Corral: Through Nov. 30, active-duty military members and veterans can get a free “thank you meal” promotional card that’s good for one free lunch or dinner buffet and beverage. The card can be used Monday through Thursday after 11 a.m. through May 31.
  • Hoss’s Family Steak & Sea House: Veterans get 20% off meals on Wednesday.
  • Houlihan’s: Active duty military members and veterans can get a free entree on Wednesday.
  • Huddle House: Huddle House is offering a free MVP Breakfast Platter on Wednesday to active-duty military members and veterans with proper ID.
  • IHOP: Active-duty military members and veterans can get free Red, White, & Blue Pancakes on Wednesday until 7 p.m.
  • Joe’s Crab Shack: Veterans can get 20% off their bill Wednesday. Valid for parties up to four.
  • Little Caesars Pizza: Active-duty military members and veterans can get a free lunch combo on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Logan’s Roadhouse: Active-duty military members and veterans can get a free meal from 3-6 p.m. on Wednesday when you order from the American Roadhouse menu.
  • Luna Grill: Active-duty military members and veterans can get a buy one, get one deal from Wednesday to Friday.
  • Macaroni Grill: Active-duty military members and veterans can get a free Mom’s Ricotta Meatballs plus spaghetti with military ID.
  • Max & Erma’s: Active-duty military members and veterans can get a free cheeseburger, endless fries, fountain drink and a chocolate chip cookie.
  • Menchie’s Free Frozen Yogurt: Active-duty military members and veterans can get a free 6-ounce frozen yogurt all day Wednesday. Must show a valid ID or be in uniform.
  • Ninety Nine Restaurant & Pub: Active-duty military members and veterans can get a free entree from a special Veterans Day menu on Wednesday with the purchase of any other entree. Dine-in only from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.
  • O’Charley’s: Active-duty military members and veterans can get a free meal Wednesday from the “Veterans Thank You Menu.”Military ID required.
  • Outback Steakhouse: Active-duty military members and veterans can get a free Bloomin' Onion and Coca-Cola on Wednesday.
  • Perry’s Steakhouses: Active-duty military members and veterans can get a free pork chop dinner Wednesday with the purchase of a dinner entree.
  • Petro Stopping Centers: Active-duty military members and veterans can get a complimentary meal from a select menu at any participating Country Pride or Iron Skillet restaurant nationwide.
  • Pilot Flying J/U.S. Pilot: Active-duty military members and veterans get a free breakfast, including a coffee, through Sunday. The offer is available via the app.
  • Red Lobster: On Wednesday, active-duty military members and veterans get a free appetizer or dessert from a select Veterans Day menu. To receive the offer, show a valid military ID.
  • Red Robin: Active-duty military members and veterans get a free dine-in Red’s Tavern Double Burger and Bottomless Steak Fries through the end of the month.
  • Rodizio Grill: Active-duty military members and veterans eat free with the purchase of at least one adult full Rodizio meal. Must show ID or proof of service.
  • Shane’s Rib Shack: Active-duty military members and veterans can get a free sandwich combo meal at participating Shane’s Rib Shack locations through Friday.
  • Shoney’s: Active-duty military members and veterans get a free All You Care To Eat breakfast from open until 11 a.m. on Wednesday.
  • Smokey Bones: Active-duty military members and veterans get a free dessert on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Sonny’s BBQ: Active-duty military members and veterans on Wednesday can get a free pulled or sliced pork sandwich plus a voucher for free BBQ Egg Rolls on a future visit. ID is required. Dine-in or takeout only.
  • Starbucks: Active-duty military members and veterans and military spouses are invited to enjoy a free tall (12-ounce) hot brewed coffee.
  • Sticky Fingers Ribhouse: Veterans can get a free pull pork sandwich and fries all day on Wednesday.
  • TA Stopping Centers: All active-duty military, veterans and reservists with proof of service can get a complimentary meal from a select menu on Wednesday.
  • Texas de Brazil: Veterans receive 25% off dinner Monday through Thursday.
  • Twin Peaks: Active-duty military members and veterans can eat for free from a select menu on Wednesday.
  • Uno’s Pizzeria & Grill: Active-duty military members and veterans can get a free entree or individual pizza.
  • Wendy’s: Active-duty military members and veterans with military ID can get a free small breakfast combo on Wednesday.
  • Wienerschnitzel: Active-duty military members and veterans can get a free chili dog with a small fry and a small Pepsi on Wednesday. Military ID required.
  • Yard House: Active-duty military members and veterans can get a complimentary appetizer on Wednesday with valid military ID. Offer is valid for dine-in only.
