In one post, showing the remnants of the hive, the fire department described the bees as “particularly aggressive at the moment,” noting that the large hive had thousands of bees.
Snyder man attacked by bees early Monday. If you have bees on your property, please call a bee keeper or exterminator. Many people are allergic to bee stings and even one can be fatal. We urge you to take action if you are aware of swarms or hives on your property.

It’s unclear how seriously the victim was hurt, though the fire department noted that bee stings can be fatal for people with allergies, KTAB reported.
The process to remove the bees and hive had firefighters asking area residents to be on alert and advising high school students to avoid the area during their lunch, KCBD reported.
