The Haunted House Restaurant in Cleveland Heights will combine scary movies and food when it officially opens on July 20, The Plain Dealer of Cleveland reported.

Don’t worry -- even if the servers handle knives, they will not be dressed as Jason Voorhees, Freddy Krueger or Michael Myers. So, relax.

“The only thing scary is how good the food is,” a sign on the wall, next to scary movie posters, will greet patrons, WKYC reported.

Artwork in the restaurant will certainly include Voorhees, along with Pennywise the clown from “IT” and the Frankenstein monster, the television station reported.

“From the moment people come through the doors, we’re paying homage to the classic horror and thriller movies,” restaurant partner Andre Scott told WLWT.

Co-founders Scott and Ryan Gullatt have known each other since high school,” The Plain Dealer reported.

Gullatt wanted to have a restaurant with a different concept, and he got some inspiration after seeing SuperChef’s, a Louisville-based restaurant with a location near Columbus.

“We don’t have to use superheroes; we can use anything,” Gullatt told The Plain Dealer. “It can be video games, anime characters, your favorite whatever. I love horror movies. I thought this would be real cool if we base the restaurant off of horror movies.”

Scary stuff will not be limited to the main floor of the restaurant In the men’s room, Jack Nicholson’s crazed eyes from that “Here’s Johnny!” moment from “The Shining” will not be comforting for patrons seeking relief.

Here are some of the menu items, according to WKYC:

  • Nightmare on Elm Street Corn: Street corn with garlic aioli, cotija cheese, smoked bourbon paprika, cilantro, candy bacon.
  • Jerk Silence of the Lamb Pops: Jerk lollipops with roasted potatoes and charred carrots.
  • The Lurch Burger: Beef patty with caramelized onions, smoked gouda, bacon jam, garlic aioli, arugula.
  • Jaws: Pizza with seafood cream sauce, cheese, shrimp, salmon, lobster tail, caramelized onions, spinach, roasted red peppers.
  • The Grinch: A non-alcoholic drink that includes green Hawaiian punch, pineapple juice, Sprite with candy spread.
