The bridge, as previously reported, once crossed a river in a park, but was taken down years ago as part of a wetland restoration project. It was being stored on park property with plans for it to be repurposed for use at a women’s shelter.

Police in Akron announced the bridge had been found in a Facebook post, saying several tips had led them to a suspect. David Bramley was arrested and charged with felony theft, after police said Bramley paid a trucking company to use a crane to move the bridge from where the city had placed it to Bramley’s property.
