Kentucky Fried Chicken has temporarily dropped the use of one of its oldest slogans amid the coronavirus pandemic.
After 64 years, use of the “It’s Finger Lickin’ Good” saying will be paused in light of the coronavirus pandemic.
“We find ourselves in a unique situation -- having an iconic slogan that doesn’t quite fit in the current environment. While we are pausing the use of It’s Finger Lickin’ Good, rest assured the food craved by so many people around the world isn’t changing one bit,” Catherine Tan-Gillespie, KFC’s global chief marketing officer, said in a statement obtained by New York Daily News.
Finger Lickin’ ... err, wash your hands and don't touch your face.
