Tippie was found February 17 running on I-75 between Tipp City and Vandalia and was corralled by a state trooper who was driving in the area.

Sgt. Jeff Kramer of the Piqua Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol saw that Tippie was skittish and used a bologna sandwich he packed for his lunch to calm the dog and get a makeshift leash around her neck.
