Protesters gather outside the statehouse to oppose governor’s stay-at-home order

COLUMBUS — About 100 protesters gathered outside the statehouse during Governor’s daily press conference to oppose the state stay-at-home order.

The protesters were so close that they could be heard from the press conference. They believed that the stay-at-home order is unconstitutional.

DeWine was asked about the protesters during his press conference.

“The folks who are outside have every right to be there,” said DeWine. “They have every right to say what they want to say. My job is to communicate as honestly and candidly as I can. I will guarantee you will not be going to keep these orders on one day longer than we have to.”

The governor says he is working on a plan now on how the state is going to come out of the pandemic that will e revealed in the next few days.
