SPRINGFIELD TWP, HAMILTON COUNTY — A man was rescued from the Ohio River following a high-speed chase in the Cincinnati area.

The driver was pulled from the water early Friday morning after leading officers on a chase through several neighborhoods, according to Cincinnati firefighters.
The chase ended near Newport when police say the suspect drove the car into the river.
Medics transported him to the hospital.
No word yet on his condition.
We are looking if the suspect is facing charges.
