Crime Stoppers offer thousands in cash reward for information on Ohio EMT kidnappers

CLEVELAND — Cuyahoga County division of Crime Stoppers offered a reward for any information leading to the identities of Lachelle Jordan’s kidnappers.

Lachelle Jordan, 30, was a Cleveland woman and an EMT who went missing after kidnappers reportedly took her on May 6.

The family urged the public to help in the search for the EMT worker, who shared that she was being stalked before her disappearance.

“We’re here to talk about the love of a family for a daughter who is missing,” Lachelle Jordan’s father, Joseph Jordan, told reporters during a press conference outside the Cleveland 5th District police station.

Joseph said that family, friends, co-workers and Lachelle Jordan’s two children—a 4-year-old and an 8-year-old—want her home and issued an emotional plea for anyone with information about his daughter’s whereabouts to come forward.

“Somebody knows what happened, and I need that somebody—whoever you are, wherever you are—I need you to reach out to law enforcement. Reach out to the media. Contact them. You can remain anonymous,” he said.

Lachelle later walked into a convenience store in Cleveland just after 11 p.m., several days after she was reported missing. She asked the clerk for the store phone and used it to call 911.

“When I first stepped up to something like this, I had one small request and that was to bring my daughter home safely,” Joseph said. “With the support of law enforcement, media, EMS, community, and everybody that wanted to be somebody, that request was granted.”

Lachelle told officers she was able to run away from her kidnappers after they tried to kill her.

Cleveland Police continued to investigate the identity of her kidnappers, the location she was kept, and any sightings of Jordan and the kidnappers during the time she was missing.

Information leading to the identities of kidnappers were eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,500.
