The incident happened June 17 on I-80 in Portage County, located south of Cleveland, state troopers said in a social media post Monday.

State troopers said the driver who lost part of his load was not aware the board flew off. However he was cited for having an unsecured load.

Neither the driver of the car nor her passenger were injured in the close call.
