4 Columbus firefighters, 5 juveniles injured after stolen car crashes into firetruck

COLUMBUS — Four firefighters and five juveniles were injured during a crash involving a firetruck and a stolen Kia in Columbus Monday.

The crash happened on East 11th Avenue and Clara Street just before 3:30 p.m., according to our news partners at WBNS.

The four Columbus firefighters were taken to Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and the five juveniles were detained and taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

All were said to be in stable condition.

Police confirmed to WBNS that the Kia was stolen and charges are pending against the juveniles.

Guns were also found in the Kia after the crash, police said.
