WASHINGTON TWP., Brown County — A 61-year-old Amelia man was killed and two other people were injured Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision on state Route 32 in Brown County, the Ohio State Highway Patrol post at Georgetown reported.

Claude Wright was headed north on Stieman Road in a Toyota Corolla and failed to yield from a stop sign at the intersection of 32 and Stieman in Washington Twp., Brown County, and was struck by a Toyota Prius driven by Rachael Bellamy, 39, of Hillsboro.
The Corolla traveled off the south side of the road after impact, the state patrol said. The accident was reported about 5:30 p.m.
Wright died at the scene.
Bellamy suffered minor injuries. A family member took her to Mount Orab Mercy Hospital.
Susan Reddick, a passenger in the Corolla, suffered serious injuries and was taken by EMS to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
Neither Wright nor Reddick was wearing seatbelts. Bellamy was wearing her seatbelt, the state patrol said.
