ODOT holding job fair Sep. 22 for District 8 counties

The Ohio Department of Transportation will be holding a job fair on Saturday, Sep. 22 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., according to a release. It will be held at the Hamilton County garage located at 1400 E. Seymour Avenue.

The job fair is for winter seasonal positions for District 8 counties: Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Greene, Hamilton, Preble and Warren.

Applicants need to bring their driver’s license, social security card, work history and current email address, the release stated. They are asked to wear close-toed shoes, and no tank tops, cut-offs or torn jeans.

Applicants are also asked to pass a physical ability test, lifting 50 to 100 pounds, and they must pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Completing an online application at www.careers.ohio.gov before the event is encouraged.
